Rigid Steel Hanger Units with Split Gunmetal Bearings
Product description
The Arvis Rigid Steel Hanger Units with Split Gunmetal Bearings provide dependable support for suspended shafts in demanding industrial and agricultural applications. The unit consists of a heavy-duty split steel housing with a precision-machined split gunmetal bearing bush. The result is a strong unit with reliable shaft alignment and simple maintenance.
Supplied Ready to Install
Each unit is supplied complete with a threaded suspension rod, locknuts and a grease nipple, ready for overhead shaft support. The heavy-duty steel housing offers significantly greater resistance to impact, vibration and heavy loads than cast housings, making it suitable for continuous duty. The split housing and split bush allow the bearing to be inspected or replaced without removing the shaft, reducing maintenance time and downtime.
Versions and Customisation
The gunmetal bush offers excellent wear resistance and dependable plain bearing performance, while the steel housing ensures maximum strength under high loads. Sealed versions are available for harsh conditions, protecting against dust, moisture and contaminants. Units with non-metallic bearing bushes are also possible, as is full customisation for non-standard shaft sizes and mounting arrangements.
The Arvis Rigid Steel Hanger Units with Split Gunmetal Bearings are widely used in agriculture, bulk material handling, conveyors, processing plants, food processing, mining, cement and steel.
