Arvis - Croft NSO Angular Plummer Blocks

The Arvis Croft NSO Angular Plummer Blocks are specifically designed for reliable shaft support on inclined or angular mounting surfaces. They consist of a fully split cast iron housing with precision-machined gunmetal inserts, offering long service life and easy maintenance.

For Inclined Mounting

Whereas conventional plummer blocks are designed for horizontal mounting, the Croft NSO angular plummer block is made for inclined installations where a standard housing would not provide optimal support. This makes it suitable for specialised machinery where shaft alignment, installation geometry or equipment layout calls for an angular design.

Maintenance and Sizes

The fully split housing and replaceable split bush allow inserts to be inspected or replaced without removing the shaft or dismantling surrounding equipment. The plummer block is available with an almost unlimited range of bore sizes for shaft diameters from 25 to 200 mm (1″ to 8″), with a bush length of 1½ or 2 shaft diameters. The cast iron housing provides strength, the gunmetal bush wear resistance.

The Arvis Croft NSO Angular Plummer Blocks are used in heavy industrial equipment, conveyors, processing machinery, marine systems, agricultural equipment and specialist engineering, in both new machinery and replacement applications.
