Arvis - S Types Medium Duty SX

The Arvis S Types Medium Duty SX are an economical and reliable solution for supporting rotating shafts in medium-duty industrial applications. The bearings have a fully split cast iron housing with precision-machined gunmetal inserts, combining high load capacity with low wear and simple maintenance.

Replaceable Bearing Shells

The SX range is particularly suited to applications where bearing brasses need to be replaced during routine maintenance. The fully machined split inserts are replaced independently of the housing, reducing maintenance costs and downtime. Thanks to the split housing, this can be done without removing the shaft or dismantling surrounding machinery. Replacement shells are available from stock.

Sizes and Lubrication

The SX range is available for shaft diameters from 50 to 100 mm (2″ to 4″). The gunmetal inserts are 1½ shaft diameters long, providing good shaft support and even load distribution. Every housing is fitted with a 1/8″ BSP grease nipple as standard for efficient lubrication and long bearing life.

The Arvis S Types Medium Duty SX are used in manufacturing plants, conveyors, agricultural equipment, pumps, processing machinery and material handling, in both new machinery and as replacements for existing bearings.
