Arvis - DIN506 Heavy Duty Series DN6
Product description
The Arvis DIN506 Heavy Duty Series DN6 is a robust four-bolt plummer block designed for demanding industrial applications requiring high load capacity, reliable shaft support and straightforward maintenance. It has a fully split cast iron housing with precision-machined gunmetal bearing bushes and is made to the European DIN 506 standard.
Maintenance Without Removing the Shaft
The fully split housing allows the bearing bush to be inspected or replaced without removing the shaft or dismantling surrounding equipment. A worn bush is replaced without changing the complete housing, and replacement bearing shells are available from stock. This saves maintenance time and cost and minimises downtime. The bearing is designed for grease lubrication, ensuring dependable performance and consistent wear in continuous industrial service.
Sizes and Construction
The DN6 series is available with a wide range of bore sizes for shaft diameters from 55 to 300 mm (2″ to 12″). The split gunmetal bush offers excellent wear resistance, while the heavy-duty four-bolt housing provides high rigidity and secure mounting under high radial loads. Dimension tables and dynamic and static load ratings are available for the series.
The Arvis DIN506 Heavy Duty Series DN6 is used in steel mills, mining, cement plants, marine, power generation, conveyors, material handling and heavy manufacturing, in both new installations and as replacements for existing plummer blocks.
