Arvis - LN Series

The Arvis LN Series consists of fully split plain bearing units for reliable shaft support, easy maintenance and long service life. Developed as a direct replacement for the earlier LS Series, it combines a durable cast iron housing with fully machined split gunmetal inserts.

Replaceable Inserts

Worn inserts can be replaced without changing the complete housing. This significantly reduces maintenance costs, minimises downtime and extends the life of the bearing unit. Because both housing and insert are split, inspection and replacement can take place without removing adjacent components or dismantling the complete shaft assembly.

Sizes and Construction

The LN Series is available with an almost unlimited range of bore sizes for shaft diameters from 15 to 50 mm (½″ to 2″). Each gunmetal bush is 1½ shaft diameters long, providing excellent shaft support, even load distribution and longer bearing life. As a rigid plain bearing, the LN Series offers excellent dimensional stability where rigid shaft support is essential.

The Arvis LN Series is used in manufacturing plants, conveyors, agricultural machinery, material handling, processing machinery, marine applications and general industrial equipment, both in new machinery and as a replacement for older LS units.
