Arvis - Hunt Engineers Series EN

The Arvis Hunt Engineers Series EN is a reliable replacement for existing Hunt Engineers bearing assemblies in a wide variety of industrial applications. The bearings have a fully split cast iron housing and precision-machined gunmetal inserts, for robust shaft support, easy maintenance and long service life.

Maintenance-Friendly Design

The fully split housing and split bush allow inserts to be inspected or replaced without removing the shaft or dismantling surrounding equipment. This saves maintenance time, lowers operating costs and minimises production downtime. Replacement bearing shells are available from stock, simplifying planned maintenance programmes.

Sizes and Construction

The EN Series is available for shaft diameters from 25 to 150 mm (1″ to 6″). The gunmetal inserts are two shaft diameters long, providing good load distribution, stable shaft support and long life. The range was originally designed in imperial sizes; the same castings are used for imperial and metric bores, so housing dimensions fit existing installations.

The Arvis Hunt Engineers Series EN is used in manufacturing, material handling, processing equipment, marine, agricultural machinery, pumps and conveyors. It allows older machinery to be maintained without costly redesign or equipment replacement.
