Arvis - DIN 505 Medium Duty Series DN5

The Arvis DIN 505 Medium Duty Series DN5 is a robust two-bolt plummer block for medium-duty industrial applications. It has a fully split cast iron housing with precision-machined gunmetal inserts and combines a proven European design to DIN 505 with practical serviceability.

Easy to Maintain

The plummer block is designed for grease lubrication. The fully split housing allows the bearing bush to be inspected or replaced without removing the shaft or dismantling adjacent machinery. The original housing stays in use; replacement bushes and shells are available from stock. This shortens maintenance time, lowers costs and minimises production downtime.

Sizes and Construction

The DN5 series is available with a wide range of bore sizes for shaft diameters from 45 to 150 mm (1¾″ to 6″). The split gunmetal bush is wear resistant, and the two-bolt housing provides secure mounting under medium loads. This makes the DN5 an economical choice for applications requiring the strength of a split plain bearing without the extra capacity of the heavy-duty four-bolt DN6 series. Dimension tables and dynamic and static load ratings are available.
