Arvis - FLS Range

The Arvis FLS Range consists of fully split, self-aligning 4-bolt flange units. They are designed for applications with continuous shaft misalignment, oscillating shaft movement and difficult maintenance conditions, situations where conventional bearing units fall short. The robust split housing is combined with self-lubricating bearing technology.

Maintenance Without Removing the Shaft

Thanks to the fully split construction, bearing bushes can be replaced without removing the shaft or dismantling surrounding equipment. This saves a great deal of maintenance time and prevents production downtime, particularly where shaft removal would be costly or impractical. The bolt hole positions are interchangeable with standard Exalign four-bolt flange units, so the FLS range can easily replace an existing unit without machine modifications.

Bearing Material of Your Choice

The self-lubricating bushes are ideal where regular lubrication is difficult, impossible or expensive. Bearing inserts can be made from virtually any commercially available bearing material, including gunmetal, phosphor bronze, Oilite, DU, DX, Vesconite, Orkot, carbon and nylon. Each unit is thus matched to its operating conditions, such as high temperatures or corrosive environments. Seals, lubrication arrangements and dimensions can also be tailored.

The Arvis FLS Range is used in material handling, conveyors, steel manufacturing, mining, marine engineering, food processing, chemical plants, agriculture and general machinery, both by OEMs and for replacement.
